The Exaicon of Jno Hess< no role > lodging in the Parish of St.
Clemt. Danes in the County of Middx taken ye. 29th
Day of Novr. 1740 Who upon his Oath saith yt. upwards
of fourty Years Since he was bound an Apprentice to &
Served seven Years Apprentiship with one Mrs. Dixon
at the Sun Alehouse by Clemt. Inn Gate in the Parish
of St. Clemt. Danes aforesd. & further saith yt. he never
Since his sd. Apprentiship rented any House pd. Parish
Taxes lived with any other Person as a Yearly hired
Servt. for the Space of one Year or otherwise gained a
Settlemt. in any other Place to his knowledge or belief
& that he is aflicted with ye. Rheumatism & being
Poor is not able to maintaine himself & Wife
