The Examination of Catherine< no role > the Wife of David
Portraite passed from the Parish of St. Martin in
the Feilds in the Liberty of Westmr . by Order dated
the 27th. Octr. last Who upon her Oath saith yt.
her sd. Husband David Portraite< no role > rented a Shed by
Lincolns Inn in the Parish of St. Clemt. Danes
in the sd. Liberty of Westmr . for the Space of 6 Year
or thereabts. at the Yearly Rent of £10 which Shed
consisted of a Shop & a Small Room over it which
this Exaiant & her Husbands Servts. Used to work
in & during all that Time this Exaiant & her sd.
Husband lodged in the sd. Parish of St. Clemt
Danes & hath left the sd. Shed abt. Years &
further saith her sd. Husband hath not since rented
Ten Pounds a Year pd. parish Taxes or otherwise
gained a Settlemt. in any other Place to her
knowledge or beleife
