The Exaicon of Mary Magee< no role > living at one Mrs.
Dickinsons in new Inn Passage in the Parish of St.
Clemt. Danes in the County of Middx & Liberty of
Westmr. Taken ye. 8th. Day of Decr. 1740 Who
upon her voluntary Oath saith yt. she is a Single
woman & was never marryed & is pregnant with
Child or Children which when born will be a Bastard
or Bastards & likely to become Chargeable to ye sd
Parish of St. Clemt. Danes she being Poor & not able
to maintaine ye: Same when born And further saith
that one Thos. Baldwin< no role > at Number 4 in Elm Court
in the Temple Esqr . did begett the sd. Child or Children
on her Body she at such time living with one Mr
Sculley in Bride Street Dublin & there he became
accquainted with her & had Carnall knowledge
of her Body at one Mr. Knowles at the Sign of the
Globe in Essex Street Dublin Sevll. times in ye.
