The Examination of Anne Seymore< no role > Singlewoman
Lodging in the Parish of St. Clement Danes in the
County of Middx taken the 9th. Day of Octr. 1740 Who
upon her Oath saith yt. her Father Jas. Seymore< no role > lived in
& rented a House in Ship Yard in the sd. Parish of St.
Clemt. Danes for the Space of Sixteen Years or thereabouts
at the yearly Rent of £16 & there dyed & her Mother Ann
Seymore
< no role > continued to live in & rent the same & further
saith that after the death of her Father she lived as a
day apprentice with one Mrs. Swaile a Mantua make
in Maiden Lane in the Parish of St. Paul Covent Garde
in the Liberty of Westmr . for the Space of three Years but
during all that time lodged & Boarded with her Mother in
Ship yard that she never rented any House or lived a
yearly hired Servt. with any Person for the Space of
one Year or otherwise gained a Settlemt. in any other
Place to her Knowledge or beleife & being very
much aflicted with Convulsion Fitts is not able
to maintaine herselfe
