The Examination of Mary Eason< no role > Singlewoman Lodging
in the Parish of St. Clemt. Danes in the County of Middx
Taken the 10th. Day of March 1739 Who upon her Oath saith
that above 20 Years ago she lived a Yearly hired Servt . with
one Mr. Alexr. Hatan< no role > in Bow Street in the Parish of St.
Paul Covent Garden in the Liberty of Westmr . for the space
of 3 Years & upwds. at the Yearly Wages of Seven Pounds
And further upon her Oath saith that she hath not since
that time rented £10 a Year Paid Parish Taxes lived with
any other Person as a Yearly hired Servt. for the space
of one Year or otherwise gained a Settlement in any
other Place to her knowledge or beleife And that she
is now Poor & Sick & not able to maintaine herselfe
