The Examination of Thos. Scarlew< no role > aged about 65 Years Passed
from the Hamlet of Hammersmith in the Parish of Fulham in
the County of Middx to the Parish of St. Clement Danes in the
same County Taken the 6th. day of March Who upon his Oath
that about Six Years ago he lived a Yearly Hired Servt . with
one Mr. Scarlet in Hollis Street in the sd. Parish of St. Clemt.
Danes for the Space of Eighteen Months & upwards at the
Yearly Wages of Five Pounds And this Examinant further
saith that he hath not since that time Rented any House
Paid Parish Taxes lived with any other Person as a Yearly
hired Servt. for the Space of one Year or otherwise gained a
Settlement in any other Place to his Knowledge or beleife &
that he is now Poor & Antient & not able to maintaine himself
