The Examination of Thos. Wheldale< no role > Lodging in the
Parish of St. Clement Danes in the County of Middx
Taken the 15th. day of Febry.1738 Who upon his Oath
saith that about Seventeen Years ago he lived a
Yearly hired Servt . with one Mr. Kennell a Butcher
in Veare Street in the said Parish of St. Clement
Danes for the Space of One Year & upwards at the
Yearly Wages of Ten Pounds
And this Examinant further saith that he hath not
since that time Rented any House Paid Parish
Taxes lived with any Person as a Yearly hired Servt.
for the Space of One Year or otherwise gained a
Settlement in any other Place to his Knowledge or
beleife that he hath one Child Named Mary< no role > aged
about Twelve Years & he being Sick & Poor is not
able to maintaine her.
