The Examination of Mary Wright< no role > on the behalfe of
Mary Sax< no role > Widw . of Jno. Sax< no role > Deced Taken the 7th. Day of June
1739 Who upon her Oath saith that the above named Jno.
Sax
< no role > lived in & Rented a House in Chequer Alley in the Parish
of St. Luke in the County of Middx of the Yearly Rent
of five Pounds & lived in the same for the space of 30
Years & there aged & During all or Part of that time was assessed and
Paid towards the necessary Releife of the Poor of the
said Parish as this Examint. hath been informed & wch she
verily beleives And this Examint. further saith that the
sd. Mary Sax hath not since the Death of her sd. Husbd.
Jno. Sax Rented any other House Paid Parish Taxes or
otherwise gained a Settlemt. in any other Place to her
Knowledge or beleife & yt. she is now Sick & Poor & not
able to maintaine herselfe
