"thereof and other the parishes precincts & place within thethe
"weekly Bills of Mortality the Parishes of saint Mary le bone
"Paddington Saint Pancras and St. Luke at Chelsea in the
"County of Middx and for indemnifying under certain
"Conditions Builders & other persons against the penatlies to
"which they are or may be liable for erecting buildings
"within the Limits aforesaid contrary to Law" and that I
shall at the same time apply to the said Court for a
Warrant or precept to the Sheriff of the County of Middx
requiring him to impannel and return a Competent number
of Substantial and disinterested persons Qualified to serve
of Juries in order to obtain the Verdict of such Jury whether
the said House so intended to be built on the said Ground
belonging to me ought to be rebuilt or not and if the same
ought to be rebuilt to award and determine the Scite of a
party wall or party Walls between the said two houses
Buildings and Premisses or to as certain the Quality of
Soil or Ground or other parts of the Premes (if any) necessary
to be laid to or taken from my said House permitting me to
erect a party Wall or party Walls And to Ascertain and
Award what (if any) compensation shall be made and
paid by either of us the said Parties to the other in liew
of the lessening either of the said two houses or other buildings
and Premisses by such party Wall or party Walls or as a
satisfaction for such other injury (if any) as shall be done
or occasioned thereby to either of us the said Parties and also
to as certain and Award what propertion of the Expence of
building such party Wall or PArty Walls shall when the same
are so built be repaid by either or any of the parties to me

of Great Marlborough Street in the Parish of Saint James
Westminster aforesd. Gent. then and there to wit on the
said 18th. day of October in the Year 1798 afsd. in the same Cot
of Genl. quarter Sessn. so he eden as afsd upon his corporal
Oath gave the said Court to understand and be informed
that he the sd. Wm Stokes< no role > did on Monday the 3d. day of Sepr
then last Serve the before named James Dunton< no role > one of
the persons to whom the said notice was directed with a
true Copy of such notice subscribed with the name of the
said Wm Stewart< no role > by delivering to and leaving the same
with the said James Dunton< no role > at this House in St. Albans
Street Pall Mall in the said County of Middx And the
the said Wm Stokes< no role > did on Tuesday the 4th day of the sd
Month of Sepr. Serve the before sd George Jackson< no role > another
of the persons to whom the said notice was directed with a
true Copy of such notice subscribed with the name of the
said Wm. Stewart< no role > by delivering to and leaving the same
with the said George Jackson< no role > at his House in Piccadilly
in the said County of Middx and that he the sd. Wm
Stokes did on the said last mentd. day serve Mr. Robert
