Discharged from her
Contract.


Wee have Agreed with Mary Parker< no role > Widdow that she shall be
Discharged from a Contract made by her with the Governrs. 8. Novrs. 1700. for a
Lease of the House then in her Possion lying in St. Thomas's Street for Sixteen
Yeares from Midsomr then last past at Four & Forty Shill. P ann, and a Fine
of £24. of which no part hath been yet paid or the Lease Sealed She paying
in Consideracon of such Discharge. Two & Twenty Shill: for the halfe yeares
Ground Rent due at Xtmas. 1704: and Fifteen Pounds in lieu of the
Improved Rent for the time past which sumes she hath paid accordingly

And Wee have since Granted a Lease of the sd. House to Wm. Abbott< no role >
Joyner for Eleven Yeares and an Halfe from Xtmas 1704, At the Old Rent of
Four & Forty Shill: P Ann and a Fine of £24. to be paid in Hand He is to
Covenant not to Welt or Suffer to be Welted in the Prmisses any Tallow
under Penalty of Five pounds for every Offence.

Wee haveing Taken into Consideracon the Frequent Requests made to
to Us by the Parishioners of St. Thomas's Parish for the Use of the two Vaults under
the Church for Burialls there, thereof Opinion and did accordingly Order
That although Wee are advised the Governrs. of this Hospll: may themselves sett
Rates & receive the same (for the Use of the Hospll.) for Burying in the said
Vaults. Yett in respect & kindnesse to the said Parishionrs. who are many of
them the Imediate Tennants of this Hospll. And in regard the whole Parish
belongs to this Hospitall. The Outer Vault next the Street shall be made Use
of by the sd. Parishionrs. for Buryalls And that they may take the profitts thereof
for the Use of the Parish, during the pleasure of the Governrs. and untill
further Order shall be made by them concerning the same. And for that
the Vault or Cellar wherein the Store of Coales hath been laid for some time past
in much Annoyed with Water and very inconvenient for that Service
Wee have directed that the Inner Vault under the Church next to the Hospll.
shall be hereafter made use of for that purpose. In pursueance of the First
of which Resolucons the Key of the sd. Outermost Vault next the Street [..]
hath been delivered to Mr. John Poulter< no role > One of the Church Wardens of the
sd. Parish, And he was Accquainted by a Sub Comittee with our Resolucon and
Order relating to that Vault as above expressed Who Accepted of the Key under
those Termes in the presence and with the Concurrence of Mr. Whitehouse Mr
Pantall & Mr. Waterman Three of the Vestry Men of the sd. Parish.

The Church yard
Fenced in at the
charge of the Pishonrs.}


The said Parishionrs. having Desired that the Governr. would at their Charge
sett up Posts & Railes or Pallisadoes round th Church Yard which hath for a
long time lain open & Comon, and in a very indecent Condicon. Wee upon
Consideracon had of the Case Declared our Opinion that the same ought
to be done by the Parishioners and not by the Hospll. The Parishionrs. having
all the Profitts ariseing by Burialls there, And the Parishionrs. have thereupon
at their own Charge Fenced in the said Church yard with Pallisadoes.
