by Lease of a House in Pater Noster Row atP Ann: wherein
are about Eighteen yeares to come praying that the Hospll. would
accept a Surrender of the sd. Lease, and discharge the sd. Mr: Chambers
for the remr. of the Terme to the sd. Mr: Broomehead alone, was
Read, and Referred to the Grand Comittee who are to Consider of
their Request, and doe therein as they shall think most propper.

Letter from the Governrs. of the Work house in London were Read

Newington< no role > , william Foster< no role > & John Rayley< no role > , all severally praying
to be Admitted to the said Office of Steward. and they were
severally Called in & heard what they had to offer besides the
Matters contained in their Peticons. And then the Question being
put, the sd. Peter Gray< no role > was by a Majority of Hands duely Elected & Choson
to be Steward of this Hospll. To hold the same with the Sallary and
perquisites thereunto belonging during the pleasure of the Governors
and not otherwise.
