upon which Two Houses are built and lye in the Intended New Street
and worth about Eight pounds P Ann: That in Consideracon of his
Surrendring the said Garden Plott and the Two Houses Built upon
it to the Use of the Governrs: for the remr: of his Prsent Lease which
Expires at Michaelmas One Thousand Seaven Hundred and Five
he shall have a New Lease granted to him or such other person as
he shall Nominate of the said other Two Houses in Church Yard
Alley for One Twenty Yeares from Michaelmas which shall be in the
yeare of our Lord One Thousand Seaven Hundred and Five at
Forty Four Shillings Per Ann: and he is forthwith to put the said
Two Houses in good repaire at his own Charge

Surrender.


Wee have alsoe Agreed with the said John Reeve< no role > for the
Surrender of his Lease in which was Four Yeares to Come at
Michaelmas One Thousand Seaven Hundred and Three Of
severall old Tenements within the parish lyeing near the Two
pumps and adjoyneing to part of the Old Houses lately Surrendred
by Mr: Thomas Briscoe< no role > which were all very much Decayed and in our
Opinion might be Improved by being Lett together with these Old
Tenement for New Building And were have paid him Twelve pounds
Six Shillings and Six pence in Consideracon of the said Surrender

Wee have Agreed with Joshua Cowles< no role > our Tennant of a
Brick House in St. Thomas's Street That he shall have a Lease
of the said House for One and Twenty Yeares from Lady day last
at the Rent of Three pounds Six Shillings P Ann: in Consideracon
of a Fine of Five and Twenty pounds to be paid within a Week
and of Five and Twenty pounds to be laid out within a Yeare in
repaires he is to permitt Mr: Ward our Tennant of the next House
Adjoyneing Eastwards to Enjoy the Lights looking into the Yard of
this house only Setting up a Blind at the Bottom about One Foot and
a Halfe in highth and the Water of Mr: Wards House is to have
a passage through the said Yard as formerly And the Yard now
Enclosed by Mr: Ward is to be Enjoyed by him and Mr: Cowles is to
Submitt to such Direccons touching the Vault as Mr: Trear shall Think Fitt
