£300 P Annn from Michas Last to Continue dureing
the Warr and then to be further Considered and reduced
by this Court or the Comittee for the time being if it shall
be thought fitt And wee [..] and the same accordingly
to the Consideracon of this Court.

Proceedings agt: Dr: Torlesse
& Mr: Elton abt: Money recd
from Comr: for the Sick
& Wounded; for which
they were Suspended by
the Comittee.


Wee being informed by Mr. Treasurer at a
Comittee the 12th of February last That he had received a Letter
from Mr. King Seretary to the Honble: the Comr: for publick
Accompts dated the 11th: of January last desiring an Accompt
of the Seamen taken into and discharged out of this Hospll:
dureing the late Warr with France And also an Account
of what Money has been paid to this Hospitall or any of
their Officers by the late Comr: for side and wounded Seamen
in respect of the Seamen soe taken into this Hospitall and
Mr Trear acquainting us That having been to Attend
the said Comr: for publick Accompts and they not sitting he
was informed by the said Mr. King their Secretary that Great Sums
of Money were Charged in the Accounts of the said Comr:
for silk and Wounded Seamens paid or issued by them
to the London Hospitalls And he also acquainting us
that no sume whatsoever appears in the Accounts of this
Hospll: to have been received for that Service Wee thereupon
at that Comittee called the Physitians Surgeons and
Apothecary of this Hospitall before us And examined
them severally touching their Receipts of Money from the
said Comrs: for sick and Wounded and upon that Examinacon
and our further Examinacon into this Matter at a Comittee
the Nineteenth of the same Month and reading the Coppies
of severall papers which Mr. Trear had obtained from the
said Comr: for sick and Wounded Seamen of [..] to the
Applications made to their Board by Doctor Richards

of our Surgeons and to the proceedings of the said Comr:
thereupon.

It appeared to us that upon the Application of
the said Doctor Torlesse and Mr: Elton on behalf of themselves
and the other Surgeons (but without their Consent or privity)
the said Comr: in April last Ordered the sume of £1382: to be
paid as A Debt due for Attendance Medicines and Cure of.
4146 Sick and Wounded Seamen sent into and discharged
out of this Hospitall dureing the late Warr with France And
that in May and June following the said Doctor Torlesse
and Mr. Elton you Receipts Mr. Jeremiah Garrard< no role >
