St: Thomas's Church


And Wee humbly certifye that pursuant to
the direccons given us by former Courts Wee have carried on
the Building of the parish Church of St: Thomas and made
such progress therein that wee hope to have the same finished
in a very short time.

A Bagnio made


Wee being informed by the physicians and
Surgeons of this Hospitall that a Sweating House or Bagino
would be of great use and benefitt to the Patients of this
House and contribute much to their Cure in many Cases
have therefore caused a Sweating House or Bagino with
Two Bathing Visterns to be made in the lower Floore of the
Newwards designed for cutting of the stone which are now
almost compleated.

Wee have Ordered the Lease of a small
Tenement in St: Thomas's parish lett in June 1700: to Alice
Robinson
< no role > for Twenty one years from Midsomer in that
year at £44: per Ann and Eight pounds Fine to be made to
Mr: John Walley< no role > to whom the benefitt of that contract
is assigned by Mrs: Robinsons Execr: she dying before the
Lease was sealed or Fine paid Mr: Walley is to pay the
said Fine and Arrears of Rent but is to be excused the
Alionacon Fine in regard the Lease was not scaled to
Mrs: Robinson.

Wee have agreed with Mr: Nicholas Chambers< no role >
and Mr: John Bromehead< no role > his partner for a Lease of
a House in Paternoster Rowe now in Mr: Huntmans
possession the Lease whereof granted to Mr: Nevill
Leman expired at Michas last For Thirteen years
from Michaelmas last at a pepper Corne for the First
Quarter and the Rent of Fifty pounds per Ann for
the remainder of the Terme And wee have agreed to
put the House into Tenantable Repaire.
