A Report from the Comittee of this Hospitall an
was read in the Words following (Vizt.)

To the Right Worppll. the Generall Court
of the Governors of St. Thomas Hospitll .

Wee of the Comittee appointed for managing
the Affaires of this Hospitall doe Certifye our
proceedings since the 9th October 1702: being the
last Generall Court (as followeth) vizt

Wee have agreed with John Casse< no role > Esqr : to lett him a
Lease of three houses in Wapping from the End of his present
Lease which Expires at Lady day 1704: for one and twenty years
at the old Rent of Four pounds per Ann In Consideracon of
£200 Fine to be paid in hand and of the Costs and Charges he is
to be at in putting the Houses and Wharfing into Repair the
same being now very much decayed.

And Wee have Agreed with Mr. John Hester< no role > to
lett him a Lease of the Great Vault on the North side of the first
Court of this Hospll. and the Crosse Valult in that Court, for 14:
years from Christmas last at a pepper Corne for the first quarter
and the yearly Rent of Thirty pounds for the Remainder of
the Terme, And alsoe for a Lease of the Great Vault on the
Southside of that Court now in Lease to Mr. Violett Wine Cooper
(he Refusing the grant us the Liberty of a Way through the Head
of that Vault to the said Crosse Vault though wee offered him any
reasonable Satisfaccon for the same) to Comence from Michas 1705:
at which time that Lease Expires for so long as shall be them to come
of the Terme in the said other two Vaults at the yearly Rent of
Eighteen pounds And wee undertook to procure a Rolling Way
out of the High Street of the Burrough in to the said Great Vault

And wee have Referred it to Mr. Trear to agree with
the parties concerned in the House under which we proposed to
make a Rolling Way to the said Great Vault on the North side of
the Court And we find by his Report That he hath agreed
with Mr. Robert Roome< no role > on Tennant of a House situate in the
High Street of the Burrough lyeing propper for the said way.
