recomend the said Nathaniell Wills< no role > as a fitt person to be
continued in the said place dureing the pleasure of this Court.

Wee have agreed with Mr: Anthony Neat< no role > by to Set him
a Lease of all the ground near the Wage pond and all the old
Buildings upon it lying between the ground lately let to Mr:
Richard Foster< no role > on the East and the Buildings called the
Still yard on the West scituale in the parish of St. Thomas
and containing Seventy Eight foot or there about in Front
Excepting only a way passage or Alley of Five foot in breadth
from the Kennell at the bottom of this ground to and from
the ground let as aforesaid to Mr: Richard Foster< no role > which is to be
reserved for the use of this Hospitall and our Tennants there near
adjoining for the Terme of 51: years From Christmas 1701: at
£6:12s: per Ann Mr: Neatby is to lay out Two Hundred and
Fifty pounds in New building within Three years and to pay
Forty Guineys as a Fine within a Week. And the Tennants who
shall desire the use of the said excepted way are to have it upon such
Tenmes as the Govemors: shall think fitt.

Vault made Order
the Northside of ye
Court next ye Burrough}


Wee indgeing it necessary as well for the bringing of
the first Court of this Hospitall next the Burrough of Southwarke
into forme as for the enableing us to make a vault on the Northside
of that Court (which wee think will turne to considerabel advantage)
have caused the foundacons on the Northside of that Court to be
laid and brought upto the surface in order to the Building of Newwards
there answerable to those on the other side whensoever this Court shall
shall think fitt to undertake the same And wee have caused a vault to
be made there containing clear Ninety Five foot in length and
Eighteen foot Three Inches in Breadth And for a Communicacon
between this vault and that formerly made under the Newwards
on the other side of this Court Wee have caused across vault
to be made at the bottom or East end of this Court containing clear
in length Sixty Five foot and in breadth Sixteen foot Two Inches.
