Phesitions


to be provided for the Patients of the house and that they as often shall set
cause do take to their Assistance therein The Phisitians of this Hospitall
for the time being or either of them, And that they do also from time to time make report to the
Governours of the House Assembled att a Generall Court or in a Grand
Comittee Of all abused either in the prized or goodnesse of the said druggs
Herbs or Simples or in the compositions thereof respectively.

Alsoe upon consideracon had of the paines and charge Mr: Robert
Whitehall Steward of the House hath been at & is like to be put to in
keeping the accts: of the House relative to the allowances lately made by
his Maty: out of the pay of such of his Soldiers as are or shal be patients
of this Hospitall and in collecting the money so allowed as aforesaid

Ordered that for and in respect of such paines and charge as
aforesaid, The said Steward may have 12 pence allowed and paid him out
of every 20s: wch. he hath received or shall hereafter receive in pursuance of
his Maties Grations Order for such allowances as aforesaid

Alsoe Whereas Itt appeares by the Report of the said Comittee
that at a meeting thereof in the Hospitall Hall ye: 25th: day of Augst: 1687 upon a
Treaty then had wth: Mr: Dorcas Collins concerning a lease to be made to her the
said Dorcas Collins or to her Execurs: Admors or Assignes off all that messuage
Tenemt: or Farme wch: the appcs comonly called or knowne by the name of steward
scituate lying and being in the pish of Much pardon in the county of Essex
belonging to this Hospitall and holden thereof by Vertue of an Indr: of lease
thereof then inspected bearing date the 16th: day of July Anno Dui 1667 made
by the then Governours of the possions revenews and goods of this Hospitall
to Dorcas Hayler< no role > Widdow deceased for a terme not yet Expired the Estate &
Interest in wch: is now come on to and vested in the said Dorcas Collins< no role > The Comittee [..]
came to the following agreemet: with the said Dorcas Collins concerning ye
prmisses (to witt) that the said Dorcas Collins< no role > her Execr Admors and
assignes shall pay into the hands of the Trear or Clerke of this Hospitall
for the time being for the use of the said Hospitall the sume of £140 (that
is to say) Fourty pounds in hand & £50 more thereof the 25th day of Febr
next ensueing and £50: more and residue thereof on the 25th day of Augst:
then next ensueing for a lease agreed to be made in convenient time after-
-wards by Indr: to her the said Dorcas Collins< no role > or to her Execr Admrs: or Assignes
of the premisses (Except as in the before mentoned Budr: by wch: the [..]
is now held is Excepted) for a terme of 21 yeares to comence from the feast
day of St: Michaell The Archangell wch: shal be in the yeare of our Lord
1690 att and under the like rent of £10. P ann: a disreserved in and by the
said former Indenture of Lease an other Covenants & condicons
(Mutatis Mutandis) as are in the said former Indentr. of Lease conteined

This Court Ordered that a lease be forthwth: made to
the said Dorcas Collins< no role > her Execurs: or admors of the said bargained
premissed according to the said agreement and that in Convenient time
The Trustees appointed by his maties Letters Patents for ye letting &
disposing of the Lands and Tenements belonging to this Hospitall be
Applied to for the sealing and Executeing the same.
