Mr. Girle one of the Surgeons Attended and
acquainted the Committee that Mr. Robt. Steere< no role >
& Mr. Robt. Hudson< no role > have been Pupils in the
Hospital for a year last past & diligently
attended the practice of the Surgeons here
according to the Contents of the usual Certificate
& therefore he desired liberty to sign such Certificate
in behalf of the said Pupills.

Ordered
That the Surgeons have leave to
sign a Certificate for the said Pupills in the
usual manner

A Motion being made that the Pupils in this
Hospital be examin'd by the Surgeons as to their
Skill in Surgery before Certificates be granted to 'em

Order'd
That such Motion be considered at the
next Grand Committee and that the Surgeons
of the Hospital do then attend.

The Clerk acquainted this Committee that
he has lately heard that Jeremiah Woodley< no role > one
of the Hospital Tenants is become insolvent &
his Effects been taken in Execution by the
Lord Brook

Order'd
That the Clerk do enquire into the present
Circumstances of the said Woodley & whether
he is able to hold the Land he rented of this
Hospital.
