View of Houses
in the Maze


Sr John Lade< no role > Mr. Le Tillieux Dr Avery Mr Malyn
And Mr. Hucks are desired to View 3 Houses in the
Maze Street and 3 Houses in the high Street of the
Borough near the Gateway and to report their
Condition to the Grand Committee and the sd
Gent are desired to View a Small piece of Ground
in the Tents next Mr Crackcows and to Settle with
Mr. Barry the rent of a Warehouse he holds of this
Hospital.

Order'd That Mr John Girle< no role > the last
Surgeon Chose for this Hospital have leave
to take his 4 Pupils imediatly as has been practised

No Surgeon to
take Pupills upon
his being first Chosen
without Leave of
the Committee


Order'd That no Surgeon who shall be
hereafter Chose into the Service of this Hospital
do take pupils upon his being first Chosen until
he shall have applyed to the Grand Committee
& have their leave for that purpose.

Augt. 1731 read & approved

Mr Treasurer Acquainted this Committee that
Mr Cheselden the Surgeon has Complained to him
that there is no Convenience for making Amputation
in the Wards & that it is very Necessary to have
Some Particular place for that purpose upon
every floor or at Least very pile of Building
