that Island on purpose to improve himselfe
in the Knowledge of Surgery by being a pupil in
this Hospital and being a Stranger and
unacquainted with the Manner of becoming a
Pupil hath waited above 3 Months in expecta-
tion of a Vacancy of which there yet appears now
likelyhood and he shall be obliged to return to
Jamaica unless this Committee will Please to
admit him a Superumery Pupil.
Upon considering the Circumstances Alledged
in the said Petition and the Committee being
informed by Mr. Bevan the Apothecary of the
truth thereof and that he Served an Apprentp
with his Father in Jamaica
