Agreed with Mr Jordan for a new Lease of the
Houses and Ground in St: Georges parish (his old Lease
whereof expired at Christmas 1719) For 21: yeares
from Lady day 1722: at £20: P Ann Tax free; For affi [..]
of £250: to be paid down within 3: dayes.

The matter relateing to the Breach of Covenant in
Mr. Moores Lease of Lands at Bewick in Holderness by
plowing up about 105: Acres of pasture Ground without
Licence, whereby an Additionall Rent of £3: P Acre
P Ann is become due, & payable to the Hospitall from
Michmas 1717 or thereabouts, was now considered, And
Severall Letters from Mr Cha: Robinson< no role > of Hull were
Read, And Mr Gilbert of Breadstreet Hill, and Mr Lee
and Mr Townley on behalfe of the Adminrs: of Mr Moore
were Heard thereupon: And the Committee being of Opinion
That the Estate is much dampnifyed thereby; And these
Gentlemen insisting that the Land is nothing the worse for
being plowed up, being before Gossy-ground and full of
Brakes. It is Ordered, That further Inquiry be made
into this Affaire, in order to find out what Damage the
Hospitall may Sustaine by this Breach of Covenant.

Mr Treasurer Reported the Agreement made with Mr
Scott and Mr Barry for part of their Ground to be made us.
of in Mr Guys new Building, which was approved of: And
Mr. Treasurer is directed to pay the £100: Agreed to be Given
to Mr Scott for his and his wifes consent to this Agreement

Ordered, That the Letting of the Wapping Houses be
deferred, And the makeing of a new Brick Wharfe to all
the Houses there at the Hospitall Charge as now proposed by Mr:
Mount is to be further considered, And Referred to any Three
of the former Committee for the view of these Houses,
to view the said Wharfes and consider of the said proposall
and Report their Opinion thereupon.
