Whereupon it is ordered That it be Recomended to the Gener [..]
Court, That the Committee may be enabled to Treat and Agree for
a Lease according to the Prayer of the said Peticon.

Agreed That it be Recomended to the Generall Court, That
a Gratuity of £40: each, be Given to Dr. Plumtree one of
our Physitians , and to Mr. Joseph Tanner< no role > our Assistant
Surgeon in respect of their past Services, they haveing no
Sallary or Settled Allowance from the Hospitall.

It haveing been the Usage for some years past, for the
Doctors and Surgeons to Attend on Mondays at this Hospitall
for Visiting their Patients, and Giveing the necessary Directions
in their respective Cases. Now upon the Application
of our Doctors and Surgeons desireing that the day of their
Attendance may be Tuesdays instead of Mondays, and Shewing
that in Severall Respects it will be more Convenient and
propper for the Patients. It is thereupon Ordered That
for the future the day be changed and altered accordingly.

Minutes of last Grand Committee, Read, and Approved.

Mr: Trear Reported, That the Gates of the Church yard have
been pulled off, pursuant to the Order of the last Genll: Court
And that the Hospitall now Buryes the Patients dyeing in
this Hospitall in the Church yard without Interruption.

Ordered, That the pretentions of the owners of the
Swan Taverne in the Borough , to away from the lower
part of their Ground lyeing against St. Thomas's Church yard
into St: Thomas's parish both from the said Taverne, and two
or three Small Tenements fronting towards the said Church yard
be forthwith Examined into: And that proper Methods be
taken to oblige the Owners to make an Acknowledgment for
this
