Mr. Treasurer acquainted the Committee, That he caused a Letter
(which was now Read) to be sent to Mr. Casberd, adviseing him
not to consent, That any other Clergy-man should be Settled to
Preach in St. Thomas's Church on Sunday Mornings till the
matter should be heard and Considered by the Grand Committees
This Committee well approved of the said Letter and Gave
Mr Treasurer Thanks for his Care therein

And that matter being now considered: It is Agreed,
and Ordered, That the said Mr Casberd shall not permitt
any person chosen by the Parishioners as a Lecturer
to have the use of the Pulpitt in the Mornings; And Mr
Trear is desired to informe them of this Order. And it is further
Ordered, That no such Lecturer be permitted the use of the
said Pulpitt without consent of the Governors: of this
Hospitall

Ordered, That advice of Councill be Taken, whether
the new Foule Wards be lyable to be charged to the Land Tax.

Mr Braines and Mr Gunstone are desired to take a
view of the House & Ground at Cheshunt in Lease to Mr
Norwood, who prays to Renew his said Lease.

Referred to Mr. Treasurer , Mr. Kenrick Mr. Mount
Mr. Powle & Mr. Fr: Moult or any two of them, to Treat and
agree for Buying in Mr: Norgate so Lease, for the use of the
Hospitall, and Mr. Treasurer is directed to Issue the
Money which shall be agreed upon

And it is Referred to the same Committee to view the
Chappell and Report their Opinion, what alteracon
are fitt to be made therein for the Greater Conveniency
of the Minister and the Patients-and the Charge thereof

Alterations in the Covenants in Mr: Guys Lease
to be suitable to the Case and not stricktly
according to the usuall Covenants [..] Leases of
Houses or Ground in St: Thomas's Parish:
