John Elliott< no role > of Tibshelfe attended the Comittee
and accquainted them with the Hardshipp of
his Case in relacon to a Suite between him
& One Clay touching a Cottage built upon
the Waste of the Hospitalls Manner, And this
Comittee considering what was Ordered in relacon
to this Affaire the 31th: of October last Doe
now Order that Mr. Trear give the sd Elliott
Five & twenty shillings towards the Charge of
his Journey & his present subsistence, and that
he pay the Costs recovered agt: the st Elliott by
the sd Clay, for which Execucon hath been ready
out agt: the Sd Elliott, being as Elliott represents it,
about Seaven Pounds, And that the Possession of the
sd Cottage shall be defeated at the Hospitalls Charge, and that
if the Hosptl. has any Right of decon of agt. the sd Clay for pulling down
part of the sd Cottage the shall be forthwith Said for the same.

Ordered that Mr. Henry Collies< no role > our Tennant of the
Marsh Lands at Alvethley in Essex Doe Stopping the way of late
Used by Henry Graunt< no role > Undertennant to Mr. Alleyn over part
of the Marsh Ground belonging to this Hosptl. to a certaine
peice of Saltings called Puttocks Hill , lyeing without the Hosptl.
Marsh Wall which is Claimed by the said Mr Alleyn, but by the
Antient Mapps & Surveys appears to belong to this Hosptl. And
in Case the said way shall afterwards be forced open by the
breaking downe of the Fence which shall be made for Stopping
the same. That then such Methods shall be Taken for Asserting
the Hosptl. right to Stopping the sd Way as Mr. Trear shall upon
Advice Think proper.

Ordered that Mr: Trear may direct the
Repaires of the Buildings in & about this Hospt.
