And thereupon the Comittee Declared it their
Opinion That no person should be Admitted
into any of the Inferiour Offices of this Hospll: who
is not a Freeman of London, if a Freeman
presents or offers himselfe, who is equally
Qualified for such Service.

And then this Comittee Chose the said James
Guy
< no role > (who is a Freeman of London ) to be One
of the Beadles of this Hospitall in the place of
the sd William Auselle to continue during the
pleasure of the Governors: and ordered him to
be Recomended accordingly to the Genrll: Court.

Mr. John Beighton< no role > & others who are concerned
in the House & Ground late Davisons lyeing in
St. Thomas's and have lately made severall
Contracts with this Comittee for other Houses &
Ground adjoyming, Upon part whereof they
have already made great Improvemt: by new
=Building, & intend to doe more, but have
only Four & thirty yeares to come at Lady day
last, Attended this Comittee, and prayed an
Addicon of yeares to be made to the [..]
Lease, Whereupon a Debate Ariseing, it
was upon the Question Agreed, that it should be
Reported to the next [..] Generall
Court as the Opinion of this Comittee That an
Addicon of yeares should be granted to then

refused his Staffe


This Comittee being of Opinion that Psons
after named are Fit to be Governrs. of this Hospll:
They ordered Green Staffts to be sent to them
