May and June Following the Said Dr. Forless & Mr. Elton gave
Receipt to one Mr. Jeremiah Garrard< no role > (to whom the Comrs directed
the Payment of the Said Money) for the frist and Second Third Parts
of the Said Debt amounting to £921: 06s 08d but they alleadge that
So more thereof then 60s: Guineys actually came to their Hand
the Remainding £276l 06s: 08d: being allowed for Solliciton & Charged
Which 600: Guineys the said Dr, and Surgeon acknowedged they
had divided between themselves and had not before this after came under Examination as
aforesaid Given any Notice thereof to the other Surgeon Officers or
to any of the Governor: of this Hospitall.

That this Comittee being of Opinion that Dr. Torless & Mr: Elton
had acted unwarrantably in their Application for and receiving or
of the Said Money and contray to the Rules and Pratice of this Hos
and the duty of their Place The Said Comittee thought fitt [..] them Pounds therir the and reported thie Matter to a Generall
Court of the Governor: of this Hopital the 17 th of March last At
which Court upon due Consideration had of this Case the Said Dr:
Forlesse and Mr: Elton were wholly dismissed from the serviced of
the Said Hospll:

That no other Sutte or Suttes of Money Whatsoever appears
to have to have been received from the Said late Comrs: for Sick &
Wounded Seamon by any of the Offices of this Hopl or for the use
of this Hospitall.

Ordered that the Sd Retune be Signed by the
Clerk of this Hospl: by Order if this Comittee, and
Mr. Trear is Desired to Present the same to the
Sd Comr: for Publick Accomp

Ordered that a Lycance be granted to Mr:
Croft field One of our Coppy hold Team in the
Manner of Alvethley to Fell Six Trees For
Repair upon Paying a Five to be Settled by Mr. Trear,

Ordered that a Lease be granted to Mr. John Reigal
