Minutes of the last Grand Comittee read &
Approved.

The Peticon of the Maior Coialty & Citizens of
the City of London as Governors: of the Hosplls: of
Christ Bridewell & St. Thomas, to the Queens Most
Excellent Majty: in Councill, as Agreed yesterday in
the Court of Aldermen, was Read to this Comittee
The Effect of which Peticon is humbly to Represent
to her Majty: That the Right of Visitting these Hosplls:
is in the Maior Coralty & Cits : and the power of
placing & Displacing Officers is under them in the
Sub Governor. of the Several Hosplls: And that Dr: Forlesse
& Mr: Elton being Chosen only during Pleasure were
Removable at Pleasure. And praying that the
Order of the 23d. of March for Putting off the
Eleccon of others in their roome, May be Discharged
It is Ordered that it be left to Mr: Trear,
And the Court of Alderman having Ordered that
so many Aldermen as conveniently can, shall
goe up with the President Trear & Governors. of
this Hospll: to Present the same It is thereupon
Referred to Mr: Trear to send to such of this
Comittee as he thinks fitt to Attend the
Presenting of theComittee [..] Sd Peticon.

Mr: Beighton praying an Addicon of yeares
to the Lease now in being of Davison's house
he intending to Lay out £300: in New Building,
and desireing likewise a Lease for a like
number of yeares of the House now in Mrs:
Jemmyn's als Tovey's Possession which is now
in [..] Lease to Mr. Briscoe, who Neglects to pay
his Ground Rent, and is ordered to be Ejected; This
Comittee considering the Case Thought it Convenient
