That in the Book here with transmitted to Your Honor:
marked No (1) and Signed by the Present Steward of this Hospl:
is contained An Accompt of the Numbers of the Sick
and Wounded Seamer admitted into this Hospital from
the Comencement of the late Ware to the wth of September
1692 inclusive with the names of Such Seanden and their
Shipps the Dayes of their Admission and Discharged and
number of dayes remaining in the Hospll: In Which Acct:
the out most Care has been used to make the same Perfect
but by reason of Some Omission in the Books of the former
Stewards (is whose time there Seamer were admitted) there
will Appeare in this Accompt Some few Defects Which the
Present Steward Could by no means Suppply.

That in the other Booke herewith likewise transmitted
marked No. ( 2) and Signed by the Steward is contained
an Accompt of all the Sick and wounded Seamon admitted
between the Said 10th of September 1692: and the 30th of June
1702: with their Names, the Names of their Shipps Timer of
Admission and discharge and number of Dayes in the House.

That the former Steward of this Hospll: received from the
late Comrs: for Sick and Wounded Seamen as appeare by their
Accompts forSick Wounded Seamonthe use of this Hospll:
the sume of toward. the Charge of Burying Such
Seamon as dyed & were buryed in this Hospll: within their Time
And the Present Steward hath received from the said Late
Comrs: on the like Accompt for 117: Seamen who dyed within
his time & were buryed in this Hospitall the Sume of 58: 10s

That upon Searching the Accompt of this Hospll: next
does not Appeare that any other Suites of Money whatsover
have been received from the said late Comrs: for sick and
Wounded Seamen for the use of this House

But upon Examining the Severall Offices of Hospital
before the Said Comittee the 12th of February last & upon further
Inquiryes afterward made by this Comittee It was discovered
that Dor: Richard Toless< no role > One of the Physcians and Mr. Thomas
Elton
< no role > One of the Surgeon of this Hospitall upon a private Application
to the Said Late Com Managed and Carried on by the Said Dr. &
Surgeon in the name of themselves and the other Surgeons ( but
without the Coment or Private of the other Surgeon or of any
other of the Offices of this Hospll ) Obtained an Order from the
Said late Com in April 1702: for the Sume of 1382 to be Paid as
as a Debt for Attendance Medicians and Cures of 4146 [..]
Sick and Wounded Seamon Sent into and discharged but of this
Hospitall during the said late Warr wth Frances And that in
