wherein the Alleadges that he hath been at
very great & Uncomon Expence & Charge in the
making of the sd New Wall & otherwise since he
to [..] the Lease of the sd Land. & prayed this
Court would Consider his Case sd make him some
Allowance. And this Court being informed by some
of the members of the Grand Comittee, that the
sd M. Collyer had Comitted wast were the Hosptl:
Land, by Cutting downe of Trees, and that he had
not yet complyed with seveall Covenants in his
Loose. This Court thereupon Ordered that the
sd Peticon [..] Certificate be Referred to the
Consideracon of the Grand Comittee, and that
they View the premisses, and Report the Case
with their Opinion upon it, to this Court.

Then this Court Proceeded to the Choice of
a Steward in the Room of Mr. Petor Gray< no role > dect
And that worthy Governor: & Benefactor Thomas
Guy
< no role > Esqr : proporing & Recomending Mr. Henry
White
< no role > as a very fitt person for that Office

This Court in a Thankfull Acknowledgemt: of
the sd Mr: Guys great Liberality to this Hospitall
[..] Unanimously Resolved, that in
regard the sd Mr: White was something above
50 yeares of Age, they would upon this present Eletcon of a Steward Dispease with the
Order of their Court of the 6th: of December 1706
by which no officer was to be Chosen above 50=Yeares
of Age, And that althos. there were ma [..] other
Peticoners for the sd place, yet no other peticon Would be
Read but the sd Mr: Whites; And the same being
Read He was freely Chosen to the sd Office or
Place of Steward of this Hosptl: to hold the same
with the Sallary & Inquisitts thereunto belonging during
the pleasure of the Governor : of they Hospitall
& not otherwise.
