& communicate at you the Result. the was lately observing that the
Treasurer of the Tumpets were running into greater Curean & desired me
to point it sent to your Notice

The Property tax (which will turn out a most troublesome me business
to the Hospital) allowed to the Neweah Tenants is right, cause that two if the
Receipts being about £10 should have been in 4 Banks. I know not what to
do about the Rent Charge from Dress Houses it Piggles the Answer to
have part of paid that you, & part of it remitted hithey [..] Mr. Bailow
lately ordered his Basker is London to pay the £19.18. charged upon
her Estate but then he demanded the Prep. tax to be deducted for the last three
years, a they I could not accede to as Certificates of Examination were regularly
sent till the last Alteration in the Act. I write to him in Consequence
but have had no Reply this payment remain suspended

Sir

I much regret any Demen having taken place on the Subject
of repairing the two Collage injured by the Storm of the 27 feby. as it
is not only my individual Wish but that if the Committee to main
-tain all the Cottages upon in several Estate. I will therefore thank
you to have them immediately put into Repair, & as there can be
no Objection to allowg you rough Timber for repairs the Collecy these
you well likewise proceed upon it agreeable to you Judgement.

On the Subject of planting the injuring Autumn, I request you
will please to point out the Parts, of the Estate you propose appreprea
ting for that Purpose. 14000 Seedlings is two small a Quantity, as
I think a great advantage would arise to To behalf from it being
men sheltered by Plantation Mr. Cromwell well write you in your
Judeuous Proposal of an Agreement will the Tenants of which I lightly
apprapprove.

In the Absence of the Treasurer I acknowledge the Rent if your
letter if the 11 I Mr. annexing the To be half Lady day Account & inclosing
a Remittance in two bills of £627.3.3 which will be duly placed
to your credit.I have also received the Parcel century the Rabr.
-ment of the Property Tax on the To be half & Berwick Rent als will the
Vouchers for To be half. I hope they will be admitted by the Comissonrs.
here, but no one at present knows what forms & Crest will
be required by them.

Sufferers in the Battle of the Nile.

Sir

I have to acknowledge the Receipt of your letter of yesterday
date inclosing a Copy of the Resolution of a General Musery of
Subscribers to the fund raised for the benefit if the Sufferers in the
ever memorable action of the 1. Augt. 1798 wherein they note the Sum
of One hundred pounds, to the Benefit of St. Thomas's Hospital

I beg you will do me the Honour to a Pure Mr Arrangement
the Rent of the Gentleman of the Committee that it is the imareable
