St. Thomas Hospital, July 23. 1807

I now do myself the pleasure of acknowledging the Receipt of your letter
of the 18. Just enclosing a [..] of £456.1.11 for the balance of the
Tibshelf Ladyday sixth Etc which wall un [..] becaused to your credit. An Exami-
nation I send the Account right, as well as the Account for the rebuilding of the 3
Cottages, To the Property Tax. I have not yet the Account settled with Government
for the property tax ending at Lady day 1806. They pretended that the Collery was
not assessed, but having the Voucher for the Payment To cut at for their Inspection
Then they said they must circle & enquire unto ch. And this that Matter rents
at present. The property Tax Vouchers ought to be sent up here every year
them (are of any dispute with the Tax Office, I have not the proof to refer to;
and a Voucher should be likewise given for the Tax on the £10 receive foarm the
Turnpike Trust, Indeed [..] apparent that the Land load who pays the Tax
should been Possession of the proof of Payment, otherwise as the Kings Right
never dies, a [..] may be set up a second time, and the Land lord not have
the Means of rebullery Etc.

He Reply to your Letter of Yesterday I have to assure you that every
Thing in my Power shall be done to make Shore place an agreeable
Residence to you consistent will the duly To eve the Hos[ital Having
she [..] you the Committee Minute on the Suty us of Shore premises
you are convinced that I have forever to let them but it the same time
it is my West to have every Transaction of [..] so requalarly approved of
of recorded that there can be no difference of Opinion are between us this
did me in my lair Letter to you any subject to the Approbation of
the Committee; b [..] we meet on Wednesday neat, the business wall
then in all probability be concluded. Mr. Robinson well regularly desire
the Alleration to be made in the front of the House Etc Etc. Your lease
well [..] that the Ground in front will not be built upon, but as
you will occupy the Ground behind the adjoining Gardeb, it is the [..]
right to resume the feat Ground for the other Premises. The Road at
the bottom I hope will not prove a Nuisance but assure at benifit to
any Houses that may be built, but I will submit year Objection to
Mr Robinson who when I last convinced well him was of Opinion
under every Circumstance that the rent should commence as M [..]
The lest of featherer Etc. shall be sent year
