Court at Aveley on Tuesday the 29th Inst. & inform Mr. Joyner
of the Same, to meet at 11 o'clock: Will it suit you?

I do not understand what is meant by the £8 on Bradford
Buildings; if he insurer the Policy should be in such hand. I
cannot trace our the £10..6..paid for Quit rents in April 1791.
The £5. short of Ricketts, stands so upon sen Books, & the Mistake in
Stanton Land tax you will rectify: I presence his Rent is clear of
Land tax as well as others, tho' the Commissioner have fixed it in
Ricketts farm

A Portsness added about Tazells Insurance£16.5.1 for 2 seven Years

I reced yours of 5th Ult & should have answered it sooner but
waiter at Meeting of the Committee which has been put off till
next Wednesday the 7th. when I doubt not the Matter of Mr. Sharp's
Lease well be adjusted, also your lease. Mr. Cromwell was here
Yesterday & seems to think that your Lease or [..] if it was
prepared, but will examine if he can make it out, he will also
prepare a Copy for the other new Lease, to which you may
make Additions or All [..] ous, The Opening a pit for trying
the Quantity & Quality of the Coat may be a preper measure but hope
not very expensiveSpeaking to Mr. Cromwell
about your Wish that some of us (perhaps two) would come down,
he is of Opinion with me that it might be very useful, as for as
to let the Tenants know some Attention is paid by the Hospital
& may be some Relief to you; we went so for that I said I Servd.
write to you to Know if you should be at home. Tuesday the 20.
May, our Object is to set off Monday, & back again Thursday or
Friday. I do not engage but it may be more than more
Talk the Rent at shall be sent directly, if would, or wait the
other Event. I think we have not had the Besvick ½ year to
Michmas 1799.

Mr. Stanton
Mr. Todd was Yesterday here saying some small
Willow Trees that he planted were pulled up, & desired to Know if
it was done by Orders from the Hospital. I told him I was a
Stranger to the Affair, but that I would write to you. He says
they were planted on her own Ground, tho' on the Outside of his
Time. You'll let the Know Law it is: He seems very warm.
