To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex in their General Session of the Peace
assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Overseers
of the Poor of the Precinct of St. Catherine in
the County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by Virtue of a Warrant or order under the Hands
and Seals of John Staples< no role > Esqr and Rupert Clarke< no role > Esqr two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said County
of Middlesex bearing date the Nineteenth Day of January
last, Catherine Ford< no role > Widow of John Ford< no role > Deceased and her
Fire Children lawful issue by her said late Husband Vizt.
John< no role > Elizabeth< no role > , Francis< no role > , Mary< no role > and Ann< no role > , as also a Daughter
named Catherine Letgen< no role > by her former Husband Martin
Letgen
< no role > , were removed from the Hamlet of Ratcliff in the
Parish of St. Dunstan Stepney in the County of Middlesex
to the said Precinct of St. Catherine as the place of their
last legal settlement

That Your Petitioner conceiving themselves
aggreived by the said Warrant or Order
do humbly appeal against the same and
pray that your Worships will be pleased
to appoint a Day in this present Sessions
that all parties concerned may attend to leare
& abide the judgment and Determination of
this court touching the said Appeal

And your Petitioners shall ever
pray Etc
