To the Worshipful his Majestys Justices of the peace for the
County of Middlesex in General Session assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Anne
within the Liberty of Westminster in the County of
Middlesex

Sheweth

That by virtue of an Order under the
hands and Seals of M. Buckley clerk and Thomas
Collins
< no role > Esquires Two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the said County of Middlesex (one whereof being
of the Quorum) bearing date the twelfth day of
January last John Lay< no role > was removed and conveyed
from and out of the Parish of Saint Mary Le Bone
in the said County to the said Parish of Saint Anne
as the place of his last legal Settlement whereby
Your Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved

They therefore humbly Appeal to this Court
against the Adjudication and order of the said two
Justices, and pray that your Worships will Appoint
a day in this present Session for the hearing and
determining thereof, and that all persons concerned
may have Notice to Attend the same

And your Petitioners will ever pray
