to convey, and to the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Botolph by Aldgate in the City of London

and to each and every of them to receive and obey.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto us whose
Names are hereunto set, and Seals affixed, being two
of His Majesty's Justices assigned to keep the Peace in and
for the said County of Middlesex , (one whereof is of the
Quorum) by the Church-Wardens or Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of St. Matthew, Bethnal-Green , that William
Wood< no role > , Mary< no role > his wife and their three lawful children namely
Eleanor< no role > aged seven Years or thereabouts who has gained no legal
Settlement in her own right, sarah< no role > Aged five years or there abouts
and Mary< no role > Aged twelve Months or thereabouts have
come to inhabit in the Parish of St. Matthew, Bethnal Green
aforesaid, not having gained a legal Settlement there, nor
produced any Certificate owning to be settled elsewhere, and
are become chargeable to the said parish of
St. Matthew, Bethnal-Green ; we the said Justices, upon
Examination of the Premises upon Oath and other Circum-
stances, do adjudge the same to be true, and we do also ad-
judge the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said William
Wood< no role > , Mary his wife and their said three Children namely Eleanor
Sarah and Mary is in the said Parish of Saint Botolph by Aldgate
in the City of London

THESE are therefore in His Majesty's name and by Virtue
of the Statutes in that behalf, to require you the said Church
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St.
Matthew, Bethnal-Green , or some, or one of you, on Sight
hereof to remove and convey the said William Wood< no role > , Mary his
Wife and their said three Children
from and out of Your Said Parish of St. Mathew, Bethnal Green,
to the said Parish of Saint Botolph by Aldgate
and them deliver to the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them together with
this our Order, or a true Copy hereof, who are hereby requir-
ed to receive and provide for them according to Law.
