To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of
the peace for the County of Middlesex in their
General Session of the peace assemble

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Parish of Saint George
in the County of middlesex on behalf of themselves and the
the Inhabitants of the said Parish

Sheweth

That by Value of and Order a pass
Warrant under the Hands and Seals of Rice Davies< no role > and
I. Merceron Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the peace
acting in and for the said County bearing date the 12th. Day of
September 1797 one John Ponder< no role > and his two Legitimate
Children vizt elizabeth< no role > and Mary Ann< no role > were conveyed from
and out of the Hamlet of Ratcliffe in the Parish of St Dunstan
Stepney in the said County to the Parish of saint George in the said
County as the place a man Lawful Settlement

That your petitioners conceive themselves
aggrieved by the said Order was much as the place of the
lawful settlement of the said John Ponder< no role > and his said two
Children appears to be in the Hamlet of Ratchife

Your Petitioners therefore humbly appeal agianst
the said Order a pass warrant and pray your Worships to
app [..] a Day for the hearing and Determining thereof.
