To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of St. Leonard
Shoreditch , ion the county of Middlesex , and to the Churchwardens and Over-
seers of the Poor of the Precinct of Saint Catherine near the
Tower in the County of Middlesex

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made to Us, two of his majesty's
Justices of the Peace , in and for the County of Middlesex (one whereof
being of the Quorum) by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of st. Leonard, Shoreditch , Middlese, That Mary
Stevenson
< no role > Wife of Robert Page Stevenson< no role > (now at
sea) and her two children lawful Issue namely
Elizabeth< no role > aged three Years and upwards and Hannah
page
< no role > aged two Yeard have come to Inhabit in the
Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch not having
gained any legal Settlement there And are
become chargeable to the same: We the said Justices, upon Examination of
the premises upon Oath, and other Circumstances, do adjudge the same to be
true, and do also Adjudge the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said
Mary Stevenson< no role > and two Children is in the
parish Precinct of Saint Catherine near the Tower
in the County of Middlesex aforesaid

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name to require you the Church
wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Leonard
Shoreditch , Middlesex , on Sight hereof, to remove and convey the said

Mary Stevenson< no role > and her said two
Children

from and our of your Parish of St. Leonard, unto the said preceinctParish of
St. Catharine
and them deliver unto the Churchwardens and overseers of the Poor there,
or to some or to one of the, together with this our Order, or a true Copy
hereof, who are hereby required to receive and provide for them according
to Law.

Given under our Hands and Seals this 16th Day of Octor
1795.
