County of Middlesex in their General Session of the Peace
for the said County Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of Saint Anne within the Liberty
of Westminster in the County aforesaid

Sheweth

That by Virtue of an Order under the Hands and
Seals of John Collick< no role > and John Hatchett< no role > two of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the City and
Liberty of Westminster aforesaid (one whereof being of
the Quorum) bearing date the ninth Day of September
instantMary Holmes< no role > and her three Children
Vizt. Elizabeth< no role > aged about Eight Years, Richard< no role > aged
about five Years, and James< no role > aged about fourteen
Months, was Removed and conveyed from and out
of the parish of Saint Clement Danes within the
Liberty of Westminster aforesaid to the parish of
Saint Anne as the place of their last legal Settlement
whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves to be
aggrieved
