The King on the Prosecution of
Hezekiah Denby< no role > for an Assault

Thomas Crosby< no role > Defendant

Thomas Crosby< no role > of Enfield in the County of Middlesex the
above Defendant maketh Oath and saith that he was-
Indicted at the last Sessions and did put in bail to the-
said Indictment and plead thereto that that he this
Deponent has neglected to give Notice of Tryal for the-
present Sessions or of taking out a Venire being wholly
ignorant of the Proceedings of the Court And this
Deponent possitively saith that [..] it was through
Ignorance and not for the Purpose of preventing Justices
that he did not give Notice and take out [..] a Venire in
this Cause upon this Indictment
