The Defendants stand Indicted for
Conspiring together to extorta Sum of
Money from Lord Eardley who is under
Recognizance to Prosecute them - Many
Warrants have been taken out in order
to apprehend the Defts to answer the
Indictment but Town send one of the
Constables be longing to Bow Street [..]
Office who has had the managemt. of
this business has not been able to take
any of the Defts Therefore please to move
that Lord Eardleys Recogn. May be
Respited.
