Maketh Oath and saith that this
Deponent together with Thomas Coles< no role >
of Holborn aforesaid Grocer
became Bail for the Defendant in the above prosecution and
this Deponent further saith that the said Defendant Having
neglected to traverse the said Indictment these Deponents
recognizance became forfeited but was respited in April
Sessions And this Deponent further saith that he together
with the other Bail to the belief of this Deponent have used
their utmost endeavours to find the Defendant without effect
having been informed and verily believe he has absconded on
account of a Charge of Felony against him. And this Deponent
saith that the Prosecutors has consented that this Deponents
and the said Thomas Coles< no role >
(the Bail for the said Defendant)
recognizance should stand Discharg'd And this Deponent saith
that he and the said other Bail have paid the expences of such
Prosecution to Mr. Lawless the Solicitor for the Prosecution
And Lastly this Deponent saith that the consent in writing of
the said Mr. Lawless or certificate hereto annexed is of the
proper hand Writing of the said Mr. Lawless
