To the Worshipfull his Majesty's justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex in their General Session
of the Peace at Hicks Hall in the said County Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square with in the Liberty of Westminster
in the said County.

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order and or
the Hands and Seals of James Fielding< no role > and George Wright< no role >
Esquires two of his Majestys of the Peace for the
City and Liberty of Westminster bearing date the 31st. Day of
October 1770 Elizabeth Williams< no role > Wife of Richard Williams< no role > if
living now gone from her and their three Children, to wit
Catharine< no role > aged Eleven Years Mary< no role > aged five Years and
John< no role > aged Eighteen months were removed from the
Parish of St. James with in the Liberty of Westminster
in the County of Middlesex to the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square in the said Liberty and County as the
place of their last legal Settlement Whereby Your
Petitioners think themselves aggrieved and Appeal
to this Court against the same.

Therefore Humbly pray this Court will
please to appoint a time for hearing & determining
the said appeal and that all Persons concerned may
then attend
