To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex in their General Quarter Session of the Peace at
Hick's Hall assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Gabriel Fenchurch Street London

Sheweth


That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under
the Hands and Seals of David Wilmot< no role > and Burford
Camp
< no role > Esquires two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
in and for the said County of Middlesex bearing date the
Thirtieth day of July One Thousand Seven Hundred and
Seventy James White< no role > and his Wife Jane< no role > were removed
from the Parish of Saint Mary Whitechapel in the County
of Middlesex aforesaid to the said Parish of Saint
Gabriel Fenchurch Street as the place of their last
legal Settlement whereby your Petitioners conceived
themselves aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore do humbly
appeal to this Court against the same
and do pray that your Worships will
appoint same day in this present
Session for hearing and determining
the said Appeal

And your Petitioners will ever pray
