Shall upon delivery in of all & every such Estreats take the Oath following that is
to say [The Oath is that the Estreats are Huly made up & Examined] And that
all Fines Etc. which were set & ought to be Estreated are Contained therein Etc]
Which said Oath the Barons are required to Admr. from time to time
accordingly.

3 G.1 Cap 15. (For the better regulating the Office of Sheriffs
S.12. Enacts for the more effectual Enforcing and Obliging the respective Clerks
of Assizes Clerks of the Peace Etc. to make out and deliver their repective
Estreats Duplicates Certificates and Schedules in due time so that the Sheriffs
may not be hindred or retarded in passing his Account for want of the sd.
Estreats according to 22d & 23d; of K. Chas. the 2d, that over & above the
Penalties mentioned in the sd, Act & 4 & 5 W & M. it shall & may be
lawful to and for the Barons of the Court of Excheaf from time to time to
Amerce such Clerk of Assize Clerk of the Peace Etc. for refusing neglecting
or omitting to Perform his Duty in returning the said Estreats at the
Times and according to the Direction Purport and Intent of the sd. Two
Acts Etc.
