To the Worshipfull his Majestys Justices of
the Peace for the County of Middlesex at the
GeneralQuarterSession of the peace held
at Hicks hall in the County aforesaid assembled

The Humble Petition and appeal of the Church Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St. Margaret Pattons in
the City of London

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant under the hands and Seals
of John Upton< no role > Elz and William Timbrell< no role > Esquire two of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace for the City and Liberty of Westmr in the said County of Middlesex
(one being of the Quorum) hearing date the 19th day of January
last a poor Woman and Wiltewale Child by the names and descriptions of Mary Nightingale< no role > (wife of Wm. Nightingale< no role > gone from
her) and Mary< no role > their child aged four Months were removed
from the Parish of St. George Hanover Square in the said County
of Middlesex to the said parish of Saint Margaret Pattens
as the place of their last legal Settlement whereby your
Petitioners conceive themselves to be agrieved

Therefore they humbly appeal to your Worship's
against the Judgemt. of the said two Justices
and pray your worship's will be pleased to
appoint some day this present Sessions to
hear and determine the matter touching the
said appeal

and your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc.
