To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of St. George, Hanover - Square , within
the Liberty of Westminster , in the County of Middlesex ,
and to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of St. Margaret Pattens
in the City of London
and to each and every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto
Us, two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the City & Liberty of Westminster
aforesaid (One whereof being of the Quorum) by the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of St. George, Hanover-Square ,

That Mary Nightingale< no role > (Wife of Wm.
Nightingale
< no role > , gone from her) and Mary< no role >
their Child aged four Months have
lately intruded, and come into the said Parish of St.
George, Hanover-Square , and are
become Chargeable to the same,
We the said Justices, upon Examination of the Premisses
upon Oath, and other Circumstances, do adjudge the
same to be true, and do also adjudge the Place of the
last legal Settlement of the said Wm. Nightingale< no role >
Mary his Wife and one Child to be in the
parish of St. Margaret Pattens in the
City of London

These are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, to
require you, on Sight hereof, to remove and
convey the said Mary Nightingale< no role > & Child
from and out of your said Parish of St. George, Hanover-
Square , to the Said Parish of St. Morgaret
Pattens
and them deliver unto the Church-wardens and
Overseers of the Poor there, or to some, or One of them,
together with this our Order, or (a true Copy hereof,)
who are hereby required to receive and provide for
them according to, Law. Given under Our
Hands Seals, this 19th. Day of January 1763.
