Humbly Sheweth
That your Petitioner on the Eighth day of January
1761 did put himself Apprentice to
Elizabeth Steel< no role >
Widow
of well
Street in the Parish of
Saint Mary White Chapel
in the County of
Middlesex
Grocer
for the Term of Seven years from the Ninth day of
November 1760 to learn her art or business of a Grocer
She finding the sd Apprentice Meat Drunk Washing Lodging and all
other necessares during the sd Term (Clothing expected)
That the sd. Elizabeth Steel< no role >
died about Christmas last
and thatJohn Barrell< no role >

being Le cutor of the Will of
the sd Elizabeth steel< no role >
hath taken your Petitioner as Apprentice to himself
against his Consent and to another Business which he does not like but
would willingly serve out time to a Grocer
which he was at the first put to
Your Petitioner therefore humbly prays that
he may be discharged from the sd John Barrell< no role >
and turned over to another Master a Grocer
or
be otherwise releived in the Premises as to your
Worships shall seem meet.
And Your Petitioner shall ever pray Etc
