Overseers of the poor of the parish of Waltham Holy Cross Otherwise
Waltham Abbey in the County of Essex

Sheweth

That by a pass Warrant or order under the hands and Seals
of James Esdaile< no role > and Benjamin Cowley< no role > Esquires two of his
Majesties Justices of the peace for the County of Middlesex
bearing date the Twenty fifth day of August last Ann Melton< no role > This name instance is in set 432. This set is in the group(s): MothersPS .
Singlewoman and her Bastard Child named John< no role > aged About
five Months were removed from and out of the parish of Saint
Luke in the said County of Middlesex to the said parish of
Waltham Abbey as the place of their last Legal Settlement

That your petitioners thinking themselves Aggrieved
by the the said pass Warrant or Order have therefore
Appealled Against the same humbly pray your
Worshipps to make such Order in the premises as to
your Worshipps shall seem meet

And Your petitioners shall ever pray Etc.
