At the General Quarter Session of the peace
of our Lord the King holden for the County of
Middlesex at Hicks Hall in St. John Street
in the said County (by Adjournment) on
Thursday the twenty first day of October
1762. in the second year of the Regin of
King George the Third

It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role >
Treasure of this County do pay to Wm. sheldon< no role > assistant
Cryer f this Court Three Pounds thirteen Shillings in
full of his Bill for posting up Orders of Court and
delivering out the Warrants for Returning Lists of
Free holders & to Serve on Justices and that his
Receipt together with this Order shall be a
sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer for
such payment.
