Who being upon Oath says that on Thursday the 8th.
of October instant as he was going from Highgate
to Barnet in a Post Chaise he was stopt on Finchley Common by two
Highwaymen, who took his Person nine Shillings in
Silver or thereabouts, that the said Robbery was Committed
near the eight Mile Stone, and between the Sign of
the Fighting Cooks on Finchley Common and London
and about a Quarter of a Mile from the former
